As you get older stretching, flexibility and mobility in general, becomes more of a priority. It is a necessity for keeping you on the mats for the long term. We try to pass the importance of that onto our students here at L13HILLS at the beginning of their Jiu-Jitsu journey.
Mike head coach & 2nd degree black belt had super tight glutes, but perseverance with the roller and the pigeon pose as it’s known in yoga, really helped. However, the stretch demonstrated against the wall here is truly super intense and has made his progress even better.
He’s shown it to many of our students and its now becoming a staple of their own cool down routine.
